CRB Check

I am in my second year of clinical psychology and want to do the MSc in forensic psychology when I finish and then work in a prison. CRB checks are vital in working with vulnerable/children etc, and I was hoping that the caution I have will not be an issue.

I am perfectly able to explain it and explain the circumstances at the time but its worried me a bit because I didn't even realise that I had accepted this caution because I just pushed a drunken woman who tried to fight with me and in the end we both got it in the neck from the police. I'm not a violent person. Please offer your advice.
