Amy, what about asking witnesses to events on the street to explain what they saw, maybe giving them a questionnaire. You could even create a scene like a pretend robbery. The event could be filmed and you could ask the participants to view the film later and then ask them again what happened. You could then do an evaluation of pre-film and post-film responses.
