Forensic Psychology on TV?

Hi! I'm an undergraduate looking for a course to major in and I'm extremely interested in jobs I've seen on TV:




I would like to know if the jobs portrayed by Dr Sweets in Bones and Patrick Jane from The Mentalist, would be categorised under forensic psychology?

If not, what are their jobs and does it exist in real life?
